Inspiration from New York’s Art Scene
“Inspiration from New York’s Art Scene” is a photography journey I embarked on during my two-month stay in New York, while working as a Counsellor and Videography Specialist at Camp Eagle Hill. During weekends and whenever I found free time, I delved into my photography journey. I explored New York City, focusing on its vibrant museums and art galleries.
With its well-known artistic vibe, New York‘s museums became the stage for my photography. The city’s museums are not just buildings, but centres of artistic innovation and historical depth, each telling a unique story. My photography journey included iconic places like MoMA (Museum of Modern Art), The Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art), Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Whitney Museum of American Art. These places, rich in art and culture, offered endless inspiration. Each museum displayed its own appeal MoMA, with its modern and contemporary masterpieces; The Met showcases a journey through time with its diverse collections; Guggenheim, an architectural marvel in itself; Whitney Museum, a key spot for showcasing American art.
My goal was to capture the spirit of these art places, their impact on the city’s culture, and how they show New York’s artistic soul. This project became a visual tribute to New York’s art scene, a proof of the city’s lasting charm as a worldwide hub of creativity and innovation.
